Hello, I am Amy. Welcome to The Amyverse - my universe of all things calligraphy and illustration.

I am a modern calligrapher and illustrator and I specialise in bespoke wedding stationery. I love to use my hand-lettered calligraphy in my designs. I have drawn for as long as I can remember so being able to include personal illustrations in my stationery is something I love. Creating brings me happiness and I hope my love and passion for creating beautiful things will make other people happy too.

I am passionate about reducing waste and sustainability. As a small business it is important to do as much as I can to minimise my impact on the environment. I have a range of wedding stationery designs created on card made from recycled materials. I love that waste can be turned into something beautiful. All my designs are 100% recyclable and I use local and UK based suppliers.

I create one-of-a-kind stationery that matches the style, colour scheme and vision for your wedding. From the initial consultation until the final product, I guarantee a totally personalised, creative, satisfying experience for you!

I design pre-wedding stationery like engagement party invitations, bridesmaid proposal cards, save the dates, wedding invitations, evening invitations, hen and stag party invitations. In addition, I offer on-the-day stationery such as table plans, place cards, table numbers and menus. I also create post-wedding stationery, ranging from thank you cards, to custom gift bags. Each wedding stationery suite is designed to complement your colour scheme and theme from the Save the dates to the place cards and all the special little details in between.

My Story So Far

Art and creating has always been part of who I am. I spent all my time as a child drawing. Back in 2010, I completed a foundation diploma at Central St Martins which is part of The University of The Arts, London. It was an honour to study at such a prestigious art school. I loved the opportunity to paint all day, but at 18, I did not know the direction I wanted to go in. Thinking it was the sensible option, I then changed paths, and studied Psychology at Royal Holloway. Throughout my degree, I continued to create, but as a hobby and for gifts for friends and family. I then pursued a career in education and special educational needs which was really rewarding but I felt something was missing. I longed to create and draw. I became fascinated by calligraphy and missed drawing more than I could explain. I attended my first calligraphy workshop in September 2018 and I have been hooked ever since. Here I am now, doing what I love.

The Amyverse started with a cheeky selection of greeting cards and now I offer prints, illustrations, greeting cards and my favourite - wedding stationery. As you will see from working with me, I just love weddings. I love hearing about all the details of a couple’s special day.

I live in Worthing, with my bonkers cockapoo Deefa. I am lucky enough to be able to take my ‘office’ to the beach when the sun shines,s and can be found working away with my dog asleep on my feet the rest of the time.
